A fun-loving, down to earth, creative soul who loves freezing time & capturing precious moments.

Hi, I’m Taylor!

My Story:

Between the ages of 4 and 9, I watched my great grandmother’s health and mind significantly deplete. She went from being full of life to wheelchair bound and developing dementia, not remembering who I was. This was incredibly confusing and painful at the time to watch her health deplete & all of my family be so grief-stricken at the loss of her mind & physical abilities. However, the blessing that was gained as a result, was the unique perspective on life that I developed beginning at such an early age, and furthermore, my passion for photography.

Since she has passed away, I often ask myself, what is really important to me? Am I making the most of my time now, doing what I love, so that when the time comes when I’m in her position I will feel content & fulfilled with the life I’ve lived & choices I’ve made? How can I create more moments doing what I love?

As beneficial as it is to ask myself these things, there’s still always one challenge that coincides with answering these questions - time.

If you take a look at the graphic directly below, you’ll see on average, how many of us spend our time doing the necessary, mundane, and all-consuming. Thus, leaving only nine years. NINE YEARS! Nine years to spend doing what is truly important to us. For me, this is spending time with the people I love & pursuing the passions that I love.

In order to solve my time problem, I have learned to capture precious photographs of the people and passions who have brought me a full-filling & flourishing love, and sense of contentment. Thus, allowing me to freeze time infinitely, never having to let go of moments that I want to hold close to my heart, forever.

We cannot stop time, but we can freeze moments & turn them into everlasting, heartfelt treasures.

Are you making the most of your nine years, doing what you love? If you could hold onto your precious people & favorite moments forever, why wouldn’t you?

About Me:

I’m a big quality time gal who loves being present with every person I have the privilege of interacting with. I love soaking up sunshine, curating creative spaces, helping others feel loved, writing poetry, traveling, trying new restaurants, Jesus, & capturing your story.

In addition to photography, I’m a wedding coordinator & have a small clothing business called Thrifty Wildflower where I upcycle thrifted clothing gems & donate a portion of proceeds to a non-profit that supports mental health awareness for middle schoolers.

I lived in Hawaii for a period of time, soaking up all of its essence, but ultimately returned home to be with those who I love. Sure places, things, and experiences are wonderful, but I believe there is no replacement for love.

I have around 40 plants that I take care of regularly which bring joy to my home, I’ve been to 32 states, & I’ve never eaten an egg!
